The Gemrock Discovery Series presents mineral specimens originating from our own field exploration and collection activities in Peru.
These pieces are not sourced through traditional mineral trade channels but are the direct result of on-site discovery, often from newly explored or previously undocumented locations.
Each specimen represents:
A moment of discovery in the field
A direct connection to its geological origin
A unique occurrence that may not be found again
Unlike commercial mining operations, these specimens are collected responsibly through surface exploration (rockhounding), without the use of explosives or chemicals.
Because of their origin, Discovery Series specimens often display:
Unusual crystal habits
Rare or atypical mineral associations
Early-stage material from new localities
These pieces are offered in limited quantities and reflect the exploratory nature of Gemrock’s work.
